Marrakech Airport Transfer Price: Menara to Medina, Gueliz and Palmeraie

The first decision in Marrakech is made at the airport: how to reach your hotel or riad. This guide sets out what our private transfer costs, how the price is calculated, how long the drive takes and what happens when your riad sits in a lane no car can enter. Every figure comes from our published airport-transfer page, checked on 5 October 2026.

Published prices from Menara Airport

The city price is the same whether you are staying near the souks, in Gueliz, in Hivernage or in the Palmeraie. Destinations beyond Marrakech depend on distance, vehicle and pickup point, so the "from" figures above are where written quotes start.

Per vehicle, not per person

The transfer price is for the whole vehicle on a one-way journey. Three people in the sedan pay the same €15 as one person travelling alone, which works out at €5 each. A party of seven in the minivan pays €25 in total, under €4 each. If you are comparing with a fare quoted per person, multiply it by the size of your party first.

• 1–3 passengers: private sedan, €15 / MAD 150 per vehicle
• 4–7 passengers: private minivan, €25 / MAD 250 per vehicle
• More than 7 passengers, or oversized luggage such as bikes, surfboards or golf bags: a bigger vehicle, quoted separately
• Departure day: the published price is one way, so ask for the return leg to the airport in the same written booking

Luggage allowances per vehicle are not published yet. Tell us how many suitcases and cabin bags you are bringing when you book, and the vehicle is confirmed against that in writing.

What the price includes

• A private air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver (English, French, Spanish or Arabic)
• Meet-and-greet with a name sign inside the arrivals hall, immediately after customs
• Flight tracking, so a late arrival adds no charge
• Help with your luggage
• Fuel, tolls and taxes
• Baby and child seats on request at no extra cost — give each child's age when you book

How long the drive takes

Allow about 30–45 minutes from Menara Airport to the medina; the published route table gives the same range for Gueliz, Hivernage and the Palmeraie. For your departure, you are picked up at your hotel or riad and dropped at Menara with plenty of time before check-in; agree the pickup time in writing.

What happens if your flight is delayed

Share your flight number when you book. The driver tracks the flight, so an arrival delay does not cost you the transfer or add a charge. The included waiting time after landing is confirmed in your written booking rather than published as a fixed number of minutes. If your flight is diverted or cancelled, message us on WhatsApp and the transfer is rescheduled. Late-night landings and pre-dawn departures are covered, because the service runs 24/7.

Riads in the medina: the last few minutes on foot

Many riads sit inside pedestrian-only medina lanes that no vehicle can enter. Where that applies, the driver stops at the nearest accessible vehicle point and walks you in to the riad. Give us the riad's name and address when you book, and confirm in writing how the final few minutes on foot will work, including any porter arrangement if you have heavy bags. Pickup and drop-off are included for all accessible Marrakech hotels and riads.

How to book

1. Send your flight number, arrival date and time, and the number of passengers on WhatsApp or through the booking form on our airport-transfer page
2. Add the hotel or riad name and address, each child's age if you need a seat, and how much luggage you are bringing
3. Receive a written confirmation with the vehicle, the total, the pickup point and the driver contact before the transfer date
4. Check the payment timing, any deposit, and the no-show and late-cancellation terms, which are all set out in writing before you pay
