Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you contact us to plan a trip — through the contact form, WhatsApp or email — you typically share your name, an email address or WhatsApp number, the tour you're interested in, the dates, and your group size. If you book, we also record the pick-up point and the total agreed price.

We do not take card details on this website. Payments happen in person on the day, or (for a small number of multi-day trips) via a third-party payment link we send separately.

2. Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry and plan the trip you asked about.
• To coordinate the pick-up, guide and vehicle for a confirmed booking.
• To handle the exceptional case where we need to reach you last-minute (road closure, weather).
• To answer questions that come up after the trip (lost items, receipts, follow-up bookings).

3. How long we keep it

We keep booking-related messages (WhatsApp thread, email, form submission) for up to 24 months after your trip, so we can help with follow-up questions and to comply with local book-keeping rules. After that we delete the content of the exchange, keeping only the minimum accounting record (date, tour, price) required by Moroccan tax law.

Unanswered enquiries where no booking happened are deleted within 6 months.

4. Who we share it with

We share your name and pick-up point with the specific guide, driver and — where the tour includes accommodation — the desert camp or riad that runs your trip. Nothing beyond what is needed to run the tour on the day.

We do not sell or trade personal information, ever. We do not use tracking cookies to profile visitors for advertising. Basic anonymised traffic analytics may be used to understand which tours are popular.

5. Third parties used to run the site

• Google Maps / Google Places — for the reviews rail and map links you see on the site (Google's own privacy policy applies to those embeds).
• WhatsApp — for the messaging channel we use with almost every guest.
• Standard email channel.
• The website hosting provider, which processes basic request logs for security and reliability.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to send you a copy of what we hold on you, to correct it, or to delete it. Message us on WhatsApp or email — we handle these requests within 30 days.

7. Children

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 directly. If a booking involves a minor, the accompanying parent or guardian is the one we correspond with.

8. Changes to this page

Small clarifications may happen without notice; anything material will be flagged at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
