Terms of Service - Rachid Excursions

1. Who we are

"Rachid Excursions" refers to the travel service trading as Rachid Excursions, with the listed contact address at 31 Rue des Banques, Marrakech 40000, Morocco. Reach us on WhatsApp at +212 6 76 92 31 23 or by email at contact@rachidexcursions.com.

2. Bookings and confirmation

A booking becomes confirmed once we have agreed the tour, the date, the group size and the pickup point on WhatsApp or email. Most standard day tours are paid on the tour day in cash (MAD, EUR, or USD) unless your written confirmation states otherwise.

If advance supplier or accommodation costs require a deposit, the amount, payment method and refund terms will be confirmed in writing before payment.

3. Pricing

• All prices are quoted on the basis shown on the relevant tour page, for example per person, per group, per car, per vehicle or by written quote.
• Prices include what is listed under "What's included" on each tour page and exclude what is listed under "Not included".
• The reference rate we use on the site is roughly 1 EUR ~= 10 MAD; the exact rate on the day of the tour may differ slightly.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the tour date. Cancellations inside 7 days are handled case by case, and we always try to be fair. Full details live on the Cancellation & Refunds page.

5. Your responsibilities on tour

• Arrive at the agreed pickup point on time; we cannot delay other travellers on shared departures.
• Bring appropriate footwear, water and layers; desert nights are cold and mountain hikes are exposed.
• Follow your guide's instructions on safety-critical activities such as camel treks, quad rides and gorge walks.
• Respect local customs, private property and photography rules, especially in the Berber villages we visit.

6. Minors

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Some activities have a minimum age, and we will flag those conditions before booking.

7. Insurance and liability

Vehicle, driver, activity-provider and guide arrangements depend on the specific booking. Ask us for the current provider and coverage details before confirming. Travellers should hold suitable travel insurance covering medical treatment, evacuation and personal belongings.

We are not liable for delays caused by weather, road closures, mechanical failures on third-party transport, or force-majeure events. Where such a delay affects a tour we have confirmed with you, we will offer a reschedule or a fair refund where appropriate.

8. Changes to the itinerary

Occasional changes happen. A road may close, a site may be closed for a religious holiday, or weather may block the Tizi n'Tichka pass. We reserve the right to substitute equivalent stops or move the tour to a nearby date, but you will always be told first in writing before we change anything material.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute we cannot resolve amicably will be handled by the courts of Marrakech.
